"This artisan organic premium single race extra virgin olive oil, is obtained through cold pressure from Martena olives. They are handpicked with an acidity of about 0.2% and once pressed by mechanical means the cultivation is ecological and organic without use of chemical fertilisers or machines.
Our superb olive oil is harvested in Spain on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Our organic oil has been said to have the sumptuous flavour of fresh cucumber with the added notes of fragrant tropical fruits. At the front of the mouth the oil has flavours of ripe banana, with a buttery texture and a gentle pepperiness at the back of the mouth.
Our olives gain their superior nutritional properties from the fertile alluvial soil around the Guadalfeo River, (where our land is naturally irrigated by the pure snow melting from the Sierra Nevada mountains).
We harvest our olives in the autumn at their prime with ecological and organic methods of agriculture which have been traditionally used in the region of La Alpujarra in the South of Granada."
